Atlanta couldn’t win “So You Think You Can Dance” two years in a row but it was close.
Chehon Wespi-Tschopp, the ballet dancer, beat out Atlanta’s Cyrus “Glitch” Spencer, a pop-and-lock hip-hop artist to win the male crown on the Fox reality dance competition.
Spencer got far further than he expected given his lack of choreography experience. He was a fast learner and a popular vote getter over the weeks with his emotional read on dances. But Wespi-Tshopp’s technical chops and noble demeanor clearly drew votes – more votes, in fact. He took home $100,000. Read more…
